Midnight 3rd November - Newark Liberty International Airport

The lightly loaded 777-200LR pushed back from its gate at KEWR - Newark Liberty International Airport. It was going to be a long flight back to its home base of Changi Airport in Singapore. The GE-90-110Bs spooled up as the red anti-collision lights came on and the captain and copilot ran the before-start and after-start checklists. The aircraft then began its taxi towards the active runway. The captain went over the weather reports, it was going to be a rather unpredictable flight, with stormy patches all over the place.
